Class of 2014 - St. Baldrick's Foundation -$76,459
The class of 2014 devoted their service learning efforts in both the fall and the spring to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Worldwide, 175,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year. The St. Baldrick's Foundation exists to combat childhood cancer by funding hospitals and researchers giving children with cancer the best chance for a cure. While some organizations spread their research dollar between adult and children's cancers, every grant funded by the St. Baldrick's Foundation is for childhood cancer research.
Through a variety of events including Penny Wars, Battle of the Classes and Chop Your Locks for Charity Event, the Class of 2014 raised $75,850.
