Class of 2013 - Ronald McDonald House & St. Baldricks $67,720
Fall 2012 - The Ronald McDonald HouseThroughout the fall semester, the Class of 2013 dedicated their fundraising efforts towards the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island. Fundraising efforts this year included selling Ronald McDonald House bracelets, Mepham Spirit Towels, a very successful Battle of the Classes event, Penny Wars, and the Be Mr. Muscara For a Day Contest. Through these efforts, the Class of 2013 raised over $8,000 for the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island. The students also had the opportunity to cook dinner at the Ronald McDonald House four times throughout the semester.
Spring 2013- This past spring, the class of 2013 led the most successful service project to date at Mepham High School. Through a variety of events including the Be Mr. Harrington for the Day contest, the 1st Dodgeball Tournament and an incredible Chop Your Locks for Charity Event, the class of 2013 raised $59,720 for the St. Baldrick's Foundation. In addition, the students at Mepham also had the unique opportunity to volunteer their time at the Child Life Program at Winthrop University Hospital.
